The Ops-Core FAST SF Gen 2 Ballistic Helmet delivers  protection and performance in an exceptionally lightweight platform. The FAST SF Gen 2 achieves proven ballistic protection with a shell weight of just 1.23 lbs (557 g, Size L). Maintaining the same protection level as the legacy model, the Gen 2 introduces a 10% overall system weight reduction, minimizing operator fatigue while enhancing mobility.

At the core of this advancement is the new LockDown Liner System, a customizable suspension platform engineered for maximum comfort and stability. Featuring strategically placed pads that promote airflow, the liner adapts to diverse head shapes for a secure fit. The LockDown Comfort Liner, made from moisture-wicking fabric and reticulated foam, provides adaptable density to comfortably support night vision systems without compromising comfort during extended missions.

Enhanced stability comes from the LockDown conformable nape pad and Occ-Dial, which secure a larger contact area on the back of the head. This design adapts to individual contours for an improved fit over rigid alternatives, while the LockDown cable system ensures a seamless, interference-free interface with headband communication systems.

The Gen 2 also introduces the redesigned Head-Loc Flex Retention System, featuring a unique convertible chin cup that can be worn over or under the chin. This innovative configuration eliminates the need for a mask extender with O2 and CBRN kits for most users, enhancing versatility in specialized operations.

Externally, the helmet incorporates the lightweight PowerPath ARC Rail System, offering a robust mounting solution with a unique behind-the-rail channel for secure NVG cable routing—reducing snag hazards and streamlining cable management. At the front, the Modular Bungee Shroud improves NVG stability with carabiner-style clips while minimizing interference with other mounted accessories.
